7th Annual Golf Tournament
MILTON, PA - With more than 100 participants, over 20 exceptional volunteers and the outstanding service provided by the Wynding Brook staff the turnout was tops at the Central PA Chamber of Commerce Business & Education Partnership's 7th Annual Golf Tournament held at Wynding Brooks Golf Course.
Tabitha Beaver, Communication & Education Coordinator for the Chamber, said the event is the Business & Education Partnership's biggest fundraiser, and thanks to all the participants, sponsors and business donors throughout the community, it was quite a hit with more than $3,000 raised. A special thank-you goes out to Yoder Builders, Inc. as Master Sponsor of the Tournament. "Our golf tournament was a huge success. We are so pleased with how it turned out, how many area businesses really came through for us, and supported our cause. We are so fortunate to have the support of these fine individuals and companies. Everyone seemed to have a great time, and we can't wait to do it all again next year. Connecting Business and our School Districts is critical in building the workforce of the future and these funds make that possible."
The funds raised from the golf tournament are used to support the Business & Education Partnership special initiatives, which include Career Fairs, Career Exploration, Career Speakers, Job Shadowing, Legislative Breakfasts, School Counts!, AP/NOCTI Awards and the Business & Education Partnership Awards.
