Lewis Attends Audit Conference
MILTON, Pa. -- Neal L.Lewis, CPA and managing shareholder with Lewis Barlett Klees, PC, attended a conference titled Auditor’s Risk Assessment Process: Tackling the New Risk Assessment SASs. The one-day conference was held September 21 at the Wildwood Conference Center in Harrisburg. Attendees learned how the new standards will substantially impact the way audits are performed and what procedures are now required to respond to assessed risks.
Sessions included information about internal control, better understanding the entity and its environment, identifying the risks of material misstatement in the financial statements, and providing a more rigorous assessment of the risks of material misstatement.
