Raup Attends Fraud Conference

 

Milton, Pa. -- Tina Raup, a staff accountant with Lewis Barlett Klees, PC, recently attended a conference titled Frequent Frauds Found in Governments and Not-For- Profits.  The one-day conference was held at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center. 

Sessions included information about personnel frauds, overriding purchasing controls, personal use of governmental and not-for-profit assets, and kickbacks related to construction projects.

Raup is a member the Audit Services Group for Lewis Barlett Klees and manages the Milton office.  With additional offices in Bloomsburg and Lewisburg, it is one of central Pennsylvania's leading accounting and business development firms. It received the Central PA Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Award last year. The company offers auditing, accounting, tax and management advisory services to government, not-for-profit agencies and private businesses, in addition to tax preparation for individuals.
