Barlett and Raup Designated 2008 QuickBooks ProAdvisors

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Rich Barlett, a certified public accountant and partner with Lewis Barlett Klees, PC, and Tina Raup, a staff accountant at the firm, recently achieved the designation of 2008 Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisors by passing the required certification coursework. The QuickBooks certification program tests in-depth knowledge of the financial software program and its business management solutions.

ProAdvisors help businesses customize QuickBooks to their individual business needs, so that they get the most out of the software. Certified ProAdvisors understand the many challenges businesses face and offer guidance on everything from complex accounting questions and payroll interpretation, to setting up, training and mastering the advanced features of the Quickbooks software.

"We find that our clients like to use the QuickBooks family of accounting products because they offer user-friendly applications that provide powerful features, but they prefer that we set them up for them according to their specific business needs," said Barlett. "We save them time at the outset by doing that, and also throughout the year as they use it to manage their businesses."

Barlett has passed the necessary coursework each year since 2002 to gain knowledge and certification on the latest versions of Quickbooks. He is the Business Services Group manager for Lewis Barlett Klees, with offices in Lewisburg, Milton and Bloomsburg. This is the fifth year in a row for Raup, who is a member of the firm’s Audit Services Group.

One of Central Pennsylvania's leading accounting and business development firms, Lewis Barlett Klees offers auditing, accounting, tax, and management advisory services to government, non-for-profit agencies, and private businesses, in addition to tax preparation for individuals.
