Lewis Attends School District Auditing Conference
MILTON, Pa. -- Neal L. Lewis, CPA, managing partner with Lewis Barlett Klees, PC, attended a conference recently regarding audits for school districts. Sponsored by the Pennsylvania Institute for Certified Public Accountants, the one-day conference was held at the Penn State Great Valley campus in Malvern.
Attendees received updates on the latest technical standards and regulatory issues related to school district audits. Specific sessions included practical approaches to implementing the new risk assessment standards, and the changing auditing and compliance requirements for Title I related to changes under the No Child Left Behind Act.
Lewis leads the Audit Services Group for Lewis Barlett Klees and manages the Milton office. With additional offices in Bloomsburg and Lewisburg, it is one of central Pennsylvania's leading accounting and business development firms.
